Harvey Stone is a Blue Origin chartered recovery support vessel based out of Port Canaveral, Florida. Harvey Stone has been retrofitted by Blue Origin to tow and support the New Glenn recovery barge Jacklyn.
Harvey Stone was first chartered by Blue Origin starting in June 2024. The ship has been retrofitted from its stock configuration with additional communication dishes and other equipment to support offshore booster landings.
New ships at Port Canaveral that aren't cargo or cruise always raise an eyebrow to me. Today's visit is from the M/V Harvey Stone.

Following intitial fit-out, the first assignment for Harvey Stone was to sail to Brest, France, where final construction of Blue Origin’s New Glenn recovery barge (LPV1). Harvey Stone departed France with Jacklyn in tow on August 8th, 2024. The ship reached US territorial waters 3 weeks later on August 29th.
